2020 Updates and Changes
New for You in 2020!
We’ve been working on big changes and are proud to announce that along with our newly launched Virtual Support Center, we have a brand new website. Our site redesign offers quick and easy access to all our information and services
New Virtual Support Center!
Our new Virtual Support Center will free our team to focus on what really matters… superb support. All of our student, parent, and school interactions are together in one place so that we can answer questions with context and provide more personal, productive responses.
Virtual Support Center users will set up a profile to have access to submit, modify, and check the status of service tickets. Profiles are customizable with key information for our Virtual Support Center agents to help you better.
Please view the video for a tutorial on how to get started, and bookmark the new Virtual Support Center link: https://ncvps.teamwork.com/support.
After months of designing, content writing, site optimizing and just a dash of hard work, we are proud to announce the arrival of our new website!
The new site is designed to help you find what you need quickly, so alongside a new look and feel, we have added a site search bar. Our main menu has not changed, so you will still be able to find pages you visit frequently.
We have also greatly improved the responsiveness of the website, so you’ll be able to easily navigate whether you are on a computer, phone or tablet.
Finally, we’ve made it easy to get in touch with us with a contact form in the footer of our homepage. Feel free to drop us a line; we’d love to hear from you!
New Brand Identity!
As part of our freshened look and feel, we’ve also shortened our name to NC Virtual. The rebranding effort is designed to revamp the way we communicate our mission, beliefs, and what sets us apart from for-profit online education providers.
At NC Virtual, our mission is to provide expanded learning opportunities for all students – regardless of zip code. We serve middle and high school students who attend public, charter, private and home schools. We feel our new, shortened name speaks to more of who we are as an organization.
Here’s who we are: We believe in students first. We get to know our students so that we can always do what’s best for them and not what’s easiest for us. Our teachers work to personalize instruction for them. We are not a software program. Teachers matter to us. The power of a teacher can never be replaced, regardless of the delivery of instruction. As an online school, we rely heavily on technology, but there is no substitute for good teaching. Our teachers are NC certified and highly qualified.
We are eager to build on our partnership with districts and schools. Over the past eleven years, public, private and home schools have enrolled with NCVPS because of our quality online courses, highly qualified teachers, and great flexibility. However, we have much more to offer. We can help with teacher loss, virtual academies, financial savings, and expanding course catalogs. With NC Virtual, communication is key. We communicate regularly with stakeholders at the school level and with the parents of our students. Our maxim: It’s all about the relationship!
