The NCVPS Super Student Award is for students who have gone above and beyond the course requirements and as a result have enriched the content, class dynamic, their own learning, their classmates’ learning, and even their teacher’s learning.
Meet Isabell N.
“For most of my life, I have been homeschooled. NCVPS allowed me to take new and exciting courses in the fields I wanted to pursue in the future. It also allowed me to create my own schedule and to take as much time as I needed in my courses. NCVPS is an amazing program and has given me a head start in my studies.” –Isabell N.
“Isabell showed great resolve throughout the course and was very instrumental in course discussions. Working through many issues, Isabell’s creative talents shined in her Final Project composition, ‘Broken Piece Sewn Together.’ The Music Industry is full of resolve and talent. Isabell has both!” –Dr. Thomas Moncrief, Music Business and Recording instructor
Advice for Students
Find a class you’re passionate about, and don’t give up on it. Always do every assignment with passion and a desire for learning and you will always succeed.
My favorite internet site is YouTube. I love seeing others make an impact in the world and do something that they are passionate about. I also love finding new creative and talented people. Many people on YouTube have been a real inspiration to me in my nutrition, music, and in many other ways. YouTube is the way I find my inspiration.
Gadgets and Things
Some of my favorite gadgets are iPhones, cameras, and laptops. They all allow you to be creative and make art. I also love the easy access to the outside world and communicating with people. Laptops also allow you to use a lot of different sites and software that can help you with organization, creativity, and school.
The Future Isabell
My plan is to do something in the arts field. Rather that be editing movies and short films or recording my music. I want to do something that shows off my abilities and can help others around the world to be inspired and uplifted.
I’m a gluten-free vegan who loves to dance!
I love Alice In Wonderland! I prefer printed books because I love the smell of them. Sounds weird, but I just love it!
I love many musicians and many genres. From Arctic Monkeys, to Pierce the Veil, to Musical Theater, but my favorite song is One Day More from Les Misérables or Moondance by Van Morison.
My favorite TV show is Friends tied with Bobs Burgers. My favorite movie is Bridget Jones’s Diary.
