Instructional Leaders for Instruction, Curriculum, and Outreach and Support

NCVPS is looking for team players with a passion for teaching and learning!

The IL position is one of coaching NCVPS teachers. ILs are strong NCVPS teachers who care about the teaching we do and the content we teach. We also have IL positions for our Outreach and Support team.  Read below for more information!

Step 1:  Read Minimum Requirements to apply as an IL for NCVPS

Only eligible candidates should apply!  Please review the Minimum Requirements below.

Applicants who do not meet ALL requirements will NOT be considered.  Due to the volume of applications being submitted, NCVPS will not be able to respond to every applicant.   More info may be requested.  You may be contacted for further information IF an Instructional/Curriculum Director has an Instructional Leader opening.

Minimum Requirements for an Instructional Leader

  • Must currently teach for NCVPS.

  • Must have a minimum of one completed semester of teaching with NCVPS.

  • Must have at least an overall proficiency rating of 3 on the current Spot Check cycle.

  • Upon request must be able to provide the names and contact information of 3 NCVPS  references.

Minimum Requirements for a Curriculum Leader

  • Must currently teach for NCVPS.

  • Must have a minimum of one completed semester of teaching with NCVPS.

  • Must have at least an overall proficiency rating of 3 on the current Spot Check cycle.

  • Upon request must be able to provide names and contact information of 3 NCVPS  references.

  • Must have prior experience with course development with NCVPS.

Minimum Requirements for an Outreach and Support Leader & IT Instructional Leader

  • Must currently teach for NCVPS.

  • Background and experience in e-learning, training, and help desk support.

  • Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Creativity in developing new ways to reach the NCVPS stakeholders.

  • Must have a minimum of one completed semester of teaching with NCVPS.

  • Must have at least an overall proficiency rating of 3 on the current Spot Check cycle.

  • Upon request, must be able to provide the names and contact information of three NCVPS references.

Minimum Requirements for an Advanced Placement (AP) Instructional Leader

  • Must currently teach for NCVPS.

  • Must have a minimum of one completed semester of teaching with NCVPS.

  • Must have a minimum of two years experience teaching an AP course.

  • Must have at least an overall proficiency rating of 3 on the current Spot Check cycle.

  • Upon request must be able to provide the names and contact information of 3 NCVPS references.
