Welcome to Edvantage Tutoring!
The NCVPS Edvantage Tutoring Program offers virtual statewide wraparound support to middle and high school students in NC public, charter, and private schools, as well as homeschool cohorts. Tutoring is available in Math, Science, and ELA, and is offered via a personalized partnership with district/school leadership to best meet the needs of students each semester.
The overall mission of NCVPS Edvantage Tutoring is to offer personalized support each academic year to impact and increase student growth in identified standards for Math, Science, and ELA.
PROGRAM DETAILS:
Tutoring for 2025-2026 begins October 13, 2025
Traditional (Evening) Tutoring
Monday-Wednesday
4:30 pm – 6:30 pm
Tutoring for the Fall begins October 13, 2025.
Tutoring for the Spring begins February 22, 2026.
Tutoring for 2025-2026 ends May 21, 2026.
Districts and schools may enroll at any time during the school year!
PLEASE NOTE: Daytime tutoring is only available per district/school request and may be utilized for students who are in ISS, suspended, homebound, absent, and/or working from home, McKinney-Vento, athletes
Evening Tutoring Curriculums: Monday – Wednesday 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM
Daytime Tutoring Curriculums: Monday – Thursday during school hours

EVENING: Middle School Math (6th, 7th & 8th Grade Math and 8th Grade Math I)
EVENING: High School Math I
EVENING: High School Math II
EVENING: High School Math III
EVENING: Middle School Science (8th Grade)
EVENING: High School Science (Biology)
Daytime (BY REQUEST ONLY) Middle School Science (6th, 7th, & 8th Grade)
Daytime (BY REQUEST ONLY) Middle School ELA (6th, 7th & 8th Grade)
Daytime (BY REQUEST ONLY) High School English II
There is a flat fee of $35/hour for tutoring. And, all tutoring slots are available in 30-minute increments.
