“Andie goes above and beyond each week to make sure the work submitted is top-notch. When feedback is provided back to her, she is the first to read it, ask any clarifying questions, and then improve the submission. She takes feedback and advice on how to be successful in the class well and makes sure to advocate for herself.” – Mr. Chad Holloman, NCVPS Animal Science Instructor
“Online classes changed my education because it allowed for me to have a smaller class size and the modifications that I needed. It allows me to learn in a different way.” – Andie K.
Andie’s Online Experience
I have taken Food & Nutrition, Blended Biology, Blended Math 1, Blended Civics Literacy and now Career Management and Animal Science this summer. The classes through NCVPS were easier for me and gave me the opportunity to meet teachers and classmates outside of my school. It has allowed me to engage with new teachers and classmates.
Personally, I definitely would suggest NCVPS as a fun and easy learning environment.
Outside of School
I see myself as kind, positive, caring, generous and a people pleaser. I love making people happy and being a hard worker.
I am a member of FCA, I also play volleyball on the school team and in a rec league. I enjoy listening to Christian music and playing with my cat, Jack. I also enjoy going to Carowinds, and I love Starbucks! I love to go to the beach and hang out with my friends and family.
I like listening to Adele and Lauren Daigle.
Goals & Future Plans
A goal I had this semester was to stay on task, avoid procrastination, and to be more respectful. I learned to manage my time better and take detailed notes.
I would love to have a career. I haven’t decided exactly what I want to do. Either a jewelry designer, vet tech or a baker. I am going to continue taking classes that may help me make a choice.
Fun Facts
