Jaylen’s Online Experience
I began taking NCVirtual courses because I had surgery and have been on homebound services. I have taken Visual Arts, Career Management, Introduction to Mathematics, Health and Physical Education- Boys, Locally Developed Math Elective B, English II, NC Math I, Applied Science, Preparation II B, Child Development, and Interior Design I.
Advice to Online Students
Make sure that you pace yourself and if you don’t understand something, reach out to your teachers, and keep your family involved.
Life Outside of School
I like watching TV and gaming in my free time. I love watching The Andy Griffith Show.
My favorite TV show is NCIS. The reason why I enjoy this show is because it deals with science and detective work. One item that I could not live without is my gaming system. My favorite snack is popcorn.
Goals & Future Plans
My goal for this semester was to be successful. What I did to reach this goal was to make sure that I had and kept good grades.
My plan for the future is to attend college. Some steps that I will take to reach this goal are to choose a school, apply for financial aid/scholarships, and complete an application.
Fun Facts
I’m a family person, and I love Duke Basketball. I’m very shy and take school and my grades very seriously.
